Introduction

 

The Freestyle Wrestling World Cup is one of the most important events for the global wrestling community for 2016, and the last big competition just prior to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. It consitutes a great opportunity for effective learning, as part of United World Wrestling Academy’s goal for enhancing the quality and sustainability of United World Wrestling events.  

 

This is a structured educational and experiential initiative of the United World Wresling Academy, targeting to extract knowledge transfer outcomes from hosting the World Cup for future hosts of United World Wrestling major events around the world. This document provides the schedule and organizational parameters background for the programme, which is to be delivered in the period 10-11 June 2016.
